A Homeless Guys Idea of Checking In
So today turned out being a good day!
It started out rough and I was worried about whether or not my attitude would be shitty or not, but I'm thinking I did pretty good.
I woke up this morning extremely tired and when I looked at my phone I was praying it would only be midnight or maybe one in the morning.
It was 5:48! The shelters mandatory lights on is at six in the morning. Shit!
But I figured "Oh well". Back in the real world I was waking up at five in the morning so I could be ready for work.
Another issue was that it was one degree Fahrenheit this morning, and since I totaled my car and lost my driving privileges it means my ass was walking. I survived it though despite not being able to feel my thumb.
This ungodly weather secured my decision to stay in the shelter until it warms up.
I've been back and forth debating myself with what to do when it comes to hitchhiking.
Part of me fears I'll freeze to death, or at the very least lose some toes. However, another part of me knows people are more generous with hitchhikers who may literally die without a ride.
But I'm staying here for now.
I had an alright time making all the shelter beds, a decent breakfast, then had a mental evaluation to make.
You're welcome probation.
Turns out I'm not insane so that's nice.
I also started a YouTube channel which was awkward and made 55 bucks today.
Life seems like it sucks and then suddenly I remembered my crash. I should be dead and I'm learning to be happy that I'm not.
Anyways. This is just a check in.
I love those who read my bullshit.
Here's a mural I saw in town.
Ok seeya later. I'm off to dinner.
